On The Ranch – Less than 5 mins
1) Over the Edge Taphouse – Tap serving a rotating cast of brews, ciders and more with as many as 21 on tap at any time. They’ve got outdoor seating with fire pits as well as 2-4 food carts to grab some grub while you are sipping on a nice cold beer. Currently, the food trucks are Hoggy Style BBQ and CR Tacos. Enjoy!
2) Big Dog Saloon – Casual bar serving alcohol and a typical bar menu. Burgers, sandwiches, and a few plates. Plenty to keep your belly full and support the ranch businesses.
3) The Sandbagger – Casual bar located right next to the clubhouse so a great place to have drinks or some food after a round of golf.
4) Trading Post – Small general store located less than a 1/2 mile from the cabins. They have a deli that serves hot sandwiches, pizza, and a few other items. Limited grocery items available and lots of drinks and snacks to choose from.
Terrebonne – 10 to 15 minutes:
1) Pumphouse Bar and Grill – Great neighborhood bar and grill. Good eats, with a large menu serving foods from salads to steaks and burgers. Good beer and wine selection with a fun ambiance on the outdoor patio.
2) Base Camp Pizza – A great place to stop for a pizza pie. It’s an unassuming restaurant on the outside, but super friendly service and tasty pizza!
3) Terrebonne Depot – Located in an old train depot that has ben artfully reconstructed the Terrebonne Depot is a local favorite. Great food and bar, be sure to check it out!
Redmond- 20 to 25 minutes
1) Baldy’s BBQ – Open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, this family-owned and operated venue has garnered the award for ‘Best BBQ’ in Central Oregon every year since its conception. It’s worth a stop.
2) Brickhouse – A delicious steakhouse located in historic downtown Redmond. The restaurant offers Northwest-raised steaks along with fresh, seasonal seafood, it is a wonderful spot for any meat or seafood lover looking to enjoy a night out. Brickhouse also has a full bar plus an award-winning wine list with an emphasis on varieties from the Northwest.
3) Christie’s Kitchen – Tucked inside an old red two-story home, Christie’s Kitchen is a lovely venue serving American breakfast and lunch dishes to hungry patrons. The Kitchen offers a host of sweet pastries and savory items, the café also has daily specials, which can be found on their website.
4) Diego’s Spirited Kitchen – is a popular venue offering in contemporary Mexican-American cuisine. Diego’s prides itself on making everything from scratch and also offers a full bar. Perfect place for lunch or dinner.
Bend – 35 to 45 minutes – Just a few listed below. There’s TONS of dining options in Bend.
1) Banger’s and Brews – This counter-service, family-operated brat shop should be on your short list. The Garcia family, natives of Argentina, have a loyal following. The restaurant’s welcoming environment, extensive tap list, sausage toppings, and an eye-popping variety of bratwursts are worth the trip.
2) Spork – Chef-owner Jeff Hunt’s 1960s-era Airstream food cart transformed into this funky, lively counter-service restaurant, heavily influenced by the Mr. Hunt’s travels around the world. It’s bold flavors and brilliant riffs on street-food classics make Spork one of the local favorites.
3) 900 Wall – Inside this historic, two-story brick building, 900 Wall slings knockout cocktails, a stunning wine list, and one of the best happy hours in Bend. The airy atmosphere and open kitchen pumping out classic modern American fare result in one of Bend’s most inviting destinations.
4) Wild Rose Northern Thai Eats– At this family-run Northern Thai downtown gem offers vibrant, spice-driven food. Delicious turmeric clams and a luscious khao soi are just a few of the stars on the large menu and are meant to be shared. Reservations recommended.
